FOUNDATIONS

Infants-1 yr old

For babies under 4 months we offer FREE Tuition! (There is a $10/4 week unit digital materials fee.) Email to request a spot!

35 minutes class 1x a week

* This class includes digital music, activities, and your child's own personalized Kindermusik bag with the main 7-8 props/instruments used in class. This is for you to keep and bring to class each week!

Cuddle, bounce, and bop with your baby in Kindermusik’s newest curriculum. Whether your baby is five weeks or five months, this class will be perfect for you! With age-appropriate activities for newborns, infants and crawlers, this parent-child music and movement class will help you strengthen those early parent-child bonds, understand your baby’s development, and heavily focus on child development and communication with your baby. You and your baby will enjoy instrument play, dance, exploration time, and together time—and you’ll get expert advice and parenting resources based on the most recent research in baby development.

LEVEL 1

1 & 2 yr olds

35 minutes 1x a week

Get ready to sing, play, and move with your little one in this high-energy music class designed to be just right for very young children. This curriculum focuses on your child’s beginning movement, helping to build the muscles your young toddler needs to walk, run, and climb; and on vocal development, helping to nurture your child’s speaking and singing voice. With a mix of both parent-child joint activities and child-focused activities, you’ll be able to join right in on all the singing and dancing while also getting the chance to observe how your young toddler learns on his or her own.

LEVEL 2

2 & 3 yr olds

35 minutes 1 x a week

This music-filled class celebrates the unique joys of your growing child. Each week your child will love singing, dancing, and playing instruments with you and her new friends and you’ll love helping her practice a wide variety of abilities such as gross and fine motor skills, turn-taking, social skills, and active listening. In class, we’ll also share tips and ideas for using music throughout the week.

LEVEL 3

3-5 yr olds

45 minutes 1x a week

From the moment you became a parent, you wanted the best for your child. In class, we engage your child in music and movement activities that also promote language, social and emotional skills, early math and early literacy, physical coordination, creativity, and more. Plus, your child will learn basic music vocabulary and notation—all setting the stage for future school success and formal music lessons. Parents join the fun for the final activities. The Kindermusik@Home digital home materials extend the benefits all week long with music from class, activities for the whole family, and each month’s story.

Level 4

4-6 year olds

45 minutes 1x a week

Level 4 classes engage your growing child in music-and-movement activities that also promote language, social-emotional skills, early math and literacy, physical coordination, creativity, and more. In each 45-minute class, your child will learn basic music vocabulary and notation, and will be introduced to influential composers and their work. You’ll join the fun for the final activities to watch firsthand as your child begins to master musical terms and concepts, building a solid foundation for formal music instruction. Level 4 classes offer monthly enrollment and a year’s worth of exciting 4-week sessions, each with its own child-friendly theme. Plus, you can bring the learning home with our companion Kindermusik Online, which gives you anywhere-access to music, stories, developmentally appropriate activities, useful parenting information, and more.

MIXED AGES

1- 5 yr olds

"We're A Musical Family, so clap your hands along with me! Singing, playing, we will be MAKING MUSIC! Mixed Ages classes bring adults and children of all ages together, providing a dynamic and integrated musical learning experience for everyone. Babies under 1 are free with an older sibling enrolled in the class. Classes are tailored so each individual child is being challenged and stimulated with age-appropriate activities. The learning continues at home — With the home materials, the learning and bonding continues at home with the child’s best teacher—the parent!

Level 5/Kindermusik Musicians

5-8 yr olds

55 minutes 1x a week

* Your child will be provided with a Kindermusik bag, and every semester each student will receive the home materials, music, flash cards, and instrument of the semester (glockenspiel, dulcimer, and recorder).

Level 5 classes are the perfect place for your budding musician to develop a strong musical foundation by learning the concepts, language, notation, and vocabulary of music, as well as the history and works of its greatest composers. Over the course of each 16-week session, your child will explore rhythm and musical symbols, engage in activities that focus on singing and vocal development, and practice playing instruments like the glockenspiel, dulcimer, and recorder. Classes are 55 minutes in length, and parents are invited to participate in the final activities.
